Upcoming simulation to offer players the chance to manage their own intergalactic economy.
June 18, 2007 | 11:26 AM PSTNamco Bandai today released a new press release detailing just what gamers should expect in the upcoming Space Station Tycoon exclusively for the Wii.
In Space Station Tycoon, players will follow the adventures of Shawn and Tam as they travel through the pirate infested universe encountering meteor fields, supernovas and much more, seeking the fame and fortune found in space station management. Offering fast paced gameplay, the title will focus on character interaction, humor, light puzzle solving and complete customization in a non-linear game world.
The strong level of customization will aid in continually increasing the size of the intergalactic business. By constructing such things as galactic taverns, luaus and water parks, players will increase the number of crowds entering through the front gate. The game will feature special “gravity points”, allowing for an increased level of interactivity within the game.
By using the Wii Remote, players can re-route asteroids, bounce rowdy ships, send cannon balls to pesky space pirates and receive tips from visitors in order to keep the park in running order. Carefully managing stations across the galaxy and meeting other objectives found in each level will put players hot on the trail of becoming the ultimate space station tycoon.
Space Station Tycoon is being developed by Wahoo Studios, and is scheduled for release this summer exclusively on the Wii.
