Eiji Aonuma mentions next Zelda adventure, possible LTTP remake.
November 12, 2007 | 2:27 PM PSTNintendo fans, this one could go a long way towards forgiving Nintendo for all those non-games you've been tolerating.
The Legend of Zelda sage Eiji Aonuma has said that he'd like to produce a 3D remake of the SNES classic, "The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past." Talking to ONM, Aonuma enlightened, "Ocarina of Time was the first title I worked on, and I was continuously tackling challenges every day during its development, so I think this is the title I feel I impacted the most…I have to say though, the first Zelda game that I played and felt potential in was Link to the Past. I'm actually very interested in what it would be like if we remade that title as a 3D game."
Just as interesting, Aonuma gave mention to the next Zelda adventure. Curiously, he stated that the game could sport a different look depending on what works best with the story and gameplay. We can't wait to see what Nintendo has in mind.

Editor's Take: A Phantom Hourlglass remake would be meh, but can you imagine a TP-style LTTP? This could be one of Nintendo's hardcore games that would go a long way towards pleasing longtime fans.
