God of War to blame?
March 4, 2008 | 8:34 AM PST
GameSpot has confirmed through Capcom that Okami for the Wii has been delayed until April 15 with no direct explanation from the publisher.
Originally set for the end of this month, GameStop speculates that today's release of God of War: Chains of Olympus is to blame for the delay. Both developed by Ready at Dawn, GameSpot says that the developer may have had to relocate resources back to God of War.
If you are late to the game, Okami is the Wii port of the well received PS2 title of the same name. Developed originally by Clover Studios, the game was highly regarded by many reviewers but to the surprise of many the studio was closed soon after its release.
Kombo will keep you updated.

Editor's Take: It does not really matter why Okami is delayed but now we will all have more time to get Brawl out of our system (is that possible?) before this great game comes out.
