It doesn't take much to get Nintendo fanboys riled up. But the best way to do it? Reggie teasing about E3.
That's exactly what Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils-Aime was doing on GameTrailers TV, when the show's host, Geoff Keighley interviewed him last Friday.
The ass-kicking, name-stealing president of Nintendo told Keighley that Nintendo will be announcing its line-up for the second half of 2008 at this year's E3, which takes place in July. More specifically, Reggie said that Nintendo's releases in the second half of'08 will be "maximizing all of our [Nintendo's] key franchises."
It gets better. "There's gonna be a big game for the holiday that the gamers will want," he said. "All I can tell you is what we announce during E3 is gonna be fantastic. The gamer is gonna be excited and the expanded audience is gonna be excited."
During the chit-chat, Keighley also asked about Wii Music, to which Reggie responded, "Who knows? Maybe that's one of the things we'll talk about at E3." When asked about a possible Donkey Kong game for Wii, he dodged similarly.
You know we'll have more as it happens.
