No doubt as a part of their huge marketing push, Nintendo is preparing to launch Wii Fit to the masses on May 19th with an all-day event (well, as all-day as 8am-5pm can be, anyway), not at the usual Nintendo World Store location, but rather in Central Park. In addition, the event will double as a celebration of May as National Physical Fitness and Sports Month.
And for everyone who gives Wii Fit a try, Nintendo will make a donation of five dollars (up to $25,000 total) to the American Heart Association. Plus, celebrity trainer Ashley Borden will be putting in an appearance as well.
The event will be held at the Central Park Merchant's Gate, located at the intersection of Central Park West, Central Park South, Columbus Circle and Broadway in Manhattan.
