Mega Man 9. The words still sound a tad mythic considering the last proper Mega Man title was released on the PlayStation 12 years ago. Yet here it is, in all its Dr. Wily blaming poor Dr. Light glory. Luckily the wait won't last too much longer, thanks to a reveal in the latest issue of Famitsu.

According to the super sleuths over there, Capcom is slated to release Mega Man 9 for WiiWare in Japan sometime during the month of September. That's just 2 months away, folks. The article curiously features a grayscale Mega Man placed beside the normal blue suited one (pictured above), which is sure to spur a landslide of speculation as to whether it's an alternate character, a new costume, or something totally different.
