Update: Cammie Confuses Us on Conduit: First-Person or First-Party?
October 2, 2008 | 9:36 AM PST
Nintendo's Cammie Dunaway is at it again...
At Nintendo's conference, currently ongoing, she came out to talk about The Conduit, which will be available in the first quarter of 2009. She then proceeds to call it an "exclusive first-party shooter."
Wait, first-party or first-person? Or both? Or are they inventing a phrase to describe a whole bunch of people shooting each other up together in the first person?
Who the hell knows? We'll try to get some clarification, though.
Other points of interest include that the game is still pre-alpha, but the single-player campaign is almost complete, with a little more polishing and bug-zapping to be done. Most of the team is now working on the multiplayer, having taken suggestions from fans who played it about what to do.
Ultimately, they tell us that they want to make a game for the hardcore Wii players.
Update:
We just spoke to Reggie. They meant first-person; The Conduit has no publisher yet. Oh Cammie, you card.
