We Ask Nintendo About Kid Icarus Wii
October 6, 2008 | 6:32 PM PST
At Nintendo's Fall Media Summit in San Francisco last week, we chatted with Charlie Scibetta, Senior Director of Corporate Communications for Nintendo, about a number of topics. At the very end of our interview, we decided to drop perhaps the most important question of them all.
Kombo: When is Kid Icarus going to be announced? Maybe not Kid Icarus but an Icarus game? The one Factor 5 is working on?
Charlie Scibetta: Yeah, that rumor rang up right before E3 and it got momentum. We have nothing to announce on Kid Icarus but we hear gamers and we hear that they want it.
Kombo: So, we're crazy for reporting on this?
Charlie Scibetta: You're not crazy but we just don't have anything to say on it. We think it's great when people say they want their favorite franchises brought back and resurrected. We hear it and we're right there with you.
Kombo: So, if I'm a Kid Icarus fan?
Charlie Scibetta: Nothing to announce yet but we definitely know that the desire is there and we're definitely thinking about it.
