Gamespot sat down with Gamestop VP of merchandising and marketing, Tony Bartel, to talk about the retailers Black Friday strategy and actually revealed something that should put a smile on any parent's face. Gamestop has a week's supply of Wiis! What that means is that if you walked out of your house at this moment and hit a Gamestop, they should be able to make your waggle dreams come true – kind of. While Bartel's statement is not a guarantee that your local store will have it, it does mean that your chances for scoring one has drastically been increased. In other words, call before you run over there in your boxer shorts and stained wife beater.

We actually have slightly over a week's supply of Wiis, which is great. We haven't been there ever since the launch, and so we're excited about being there. And the Wii Fit, we have hours of supply, so as soon as it comes in it really is going out. And it is very much like the Wii of days gone by. -- Gamestop
