With SEGA releasing its gory MadWorld tomorrow, Ubisoft is giving Wii owners another opportunity to splatter vital fluid on their pristine white consoles.
The France-based publisher will ship two of its most violent Wii exclusives, No More Heroes and Red Steel, in a bloody, budget-priced bundle later this month.
The bundle is priced at $29.99 and ships Mar. 19.
One of the most hyped games to release alongside Wii in Nov. 2006, Ubisoft's Red Steel was widely criticized for falling short of the lofty expectations it had generated prior to release. Despite generally negative press, Red Steel has sold more than one million copies to date worldwide, according to the sales-tracking Web site VG Chartz.
Goichi Suda's violent and eccentric No More Heroes won a cult following upon its Jan. 2008 release. It received mostly positive reviews and has sold approximately 390,000 copies to date worldwide.
A sequel to No More Heroes is planned for a 2010 release by publisher XSEED Games.
