Metroid Prime Trilogy: Three Games, Three Bonuses
June 30, 2009 | 4:51 PM PST

As we learned recently, Nintendo is doing more with Metroid Prime Trilogy than slapping two New Play Control! games on a disc with Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. They are also releasing it in a metal case with a slipcover as a special "Collector's Edition." And on top of that, GameStop is giving a special t-shirt with preorders.

But, there's more. The updated GameStop page for the game shows off a preview of the art booklet the package describes. Here's another look:

However, the Gamestop site gives one pause for concern, as it says the art booklet comes when one "reserves" the game, and that it is "available for online and in-store customers, while supplies last."

Other than the player's guide, this is the only thing listed for Metroid Prime Trilogy on their website. This leaves us to wonder whether or not there are separate editions, and if the booklet is just a preorder bonus, or an actual part of the package.

Or maybe GameStop is just trying to hype it up even more, who knows?

In any case, that's not all. In addition to everything else above, preorders at GameStop also get a rather cool Metroid Prime Trilogy poster. Check it out:

These bonuses had better apply in Canada. If they do, I am giving them my five dollars this very week.
