Seven new character images for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games have cropped up, and you can find them (the six above, plus one more of Blaze the Cat on ice skates) in all their high-res glory in our gallery.

In addition, the art clues us in as to some other events we can expect to see: Eggman represents curling, and Blaze... I have no idea what Olympic sport involves skis and a rifle, but I must admit that I'm dying to find out. If anyone can clue me in on that, then I'd love to know.

Other characters purportedly leaked by SEGA (via the Sonic News Network Wiki) include Silver the Hedgehog and Bowser Jr., and they have some screens that are said to have been posted on the official site, but were later removed. At present, neither character is accounted for there.

Also, there is rumor that Sonic stages Radical Highway and Ocean Palace will be available for snowboarding. They don't seem to be officially confirmed by SEGA, but the following images would seem to indicate at least the former, and Bowser Jr. Until it's official, however, we're leaving these out of the gallery and tagging them as "rumor," though they would certainly be good ones.
