Yes, it's official -- the Wii is now $199.99. Just moments ago at the Tokyo Game Show, Nintendo announced the price cut that we pretty much knew was going to happen. Prices will begin to slash down on September 27 in United States, while Japanese gamers will have to wait until October 1. And to those of you worrying about the contents of this new deal -- don't fret. It will still include Wii Sports and one remote/nunchuk.
With the Wii finally below the $200 mark, what do you think this will mean for the console war? Will the Wii sweep the holiday season with its tried and true motion controls and bang for the buck value? Or will the 360/PS3 price cut have an impact on Wii sales? Tell us what you think.
