As previously expected, the latest issue of Famitsu gives us the first details on the latest in Konami's WiiWare-exclusive ReBirth series, Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth.

Like Contra: ReBirth and Gradius: ReBirth before it, the new Castlevania will be a enhanced reimagining of a previous game in the series, in this case, the Game Boy's The Castlevania Adventure. The new title will have some extra enhancements - where Castlevania Adventure used ropes for climbing ledges, ReBirth will use the series' standard stairs. Also promised are enhanced 16-bit graphics and remixed music.

The game will hit WiiWare in Japan on October 27th for 1,000 Wii Points. Considering the game was announced by Nintendo for a 2009 timeframe, expect a US release around that point.
