Media: Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth - Entire First Stage and Boss

Friend-of-Kombo TheWon has come through for us once more with a new video, though today it's something a little different.
While North America is eagerly awaiting the release of Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth, which we've only been told of as being "soon" by the latest Nintendo Week, the game is already available in Japan. And to help tide us over is this video of the entire first stage of the game:
This looks like classic Castlevania, but with better controls (though maybe not as good as the post-Symphony era games-- too hard to tell). The addition of items should make this one-time Game Boy experience a bit more tolerable to the masses as well.
Did anyone play the original? I've heard it only had four stages or so, but I'm wondering how this compares in terms of length. Anyone have an answer?
