Suda 51 Game At Nintendo Briefing
But the title won’t be playable at E3 2006, according to sources. Details inside.
April 20, 2006 | 4:10 PM PST

With E3 fast approaching, more and more games are officially being revealed and announced for Nintendo Revolution. For example, just a few weeks ago, Ubisoft introduced the world to Red Steel, an exclusive first-person game that mixes both swordplay and gunplay into one delicious treat. Ubisoft also plans to demo the title at this year’s E3, which takes place less than a month from now.

AMN has been able to confirm through talking to Grasshopper Product Manager Nobuhiko Nakamura that its next game will be unveiled at E3 2006 next month. While this news might not be totally new for those who have been following Revolution developments minute-by-minute, we were able to also confirm that the game will probably be shown at Nintendo’s pre-E3 press briefing, which takes place May 9. The reason why we say “probably” is because readers should note that these kinds of decisions might change in the coming weeks as Nintendo finalizes what products it will highlight at its conference.

AMN also heard through the grapevine that Suda 51 and Grasshopper’s new Revolution project will not be playable on the show floor at E3 itself. Readers shouldn’t fret, though. Over the last few weeks, we’ve heard that anywhere from ten to fifteen games will be playable at E3 for Revolution.

No other details on the Suda 51-developed Grasshopper project for Revolution are available are present time, but when we know more, so will you.
